Schools to reopen on December 16

The Education Ministry has announced that schools across the country will reopen for the final phase of the third school term on December 16.

Speaking at a special press briefing, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education Nalaka Kaluwewe stated that schools had originally been scheduled to reopen on December 08.

However, the decision has been revised due to the prevailing disaster situation affecting several regions.
