Colombo, August 11 (Daily Mirror) - Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is ready to form a new government together with progressive factions of the National People's Power (NPP), Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Sujith Sanjaya Perera said today.
“It looks like the NPP government is shaken by the SupremeSAT drama. Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is ready to form a new government together with the progressive factions in the government if the need arises,” the MP said.
MP Perera said the effort by Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe may be to put Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya into difficulties and show that she is an incapable person.

Country not out of the woods and NPP clearly declining creating unnecessary issues, confirm they have no more viable plans for economic development, sprinting out of options, appreciating the keep up with international monetary guidelines...

SJB is day dreaming and awaiting on any opportunity to make comical statements. In one way the public are treated to good humor.

Now to see, even Sajith is ready to eat Soap if it is given to him free of charge. Sajith when the opportunity was given to you - you did not take it, now it is too late. It's time to retire from Politics as your brain nerves are dis-connected.

SJB must not act in haste due to the theatrics of JVP led government. So far, the people have seen only media theatrics of the present government but not any achievement that supports the citizens' economic aspirations.

People are sceptical about the leadership qualities of SP. It’s a reasonable assumption because he has never held a serious ministerial position, has no real achievement to his name except a few ad hoc ‘retail’ political gimmicks like distributing smart boards and school buses, has shown a reluctance to support his capable team members, a kind of a fear of them overtaking him. Real leaders are not like that. They groom the new comers, identify the potential and make use of them to achieve bigger things. You may not like this but one such example is how RW got a bunch of young (and old) bright people from an opposition party (and a few from his own camp too) to stabilise the economy during his interim presidency. There are a many former UNP (and now SJP) politicians who built up their careers thanks to him. So we must look for the future to find the next president for this country.

Sorry, the NPP member are not for sale. Please wait for the next 10 t0 15 years for your turn ( if there will be one) to lead the country. Very unlikely. Better option is to join Siya and Ali Baba until such a window is open.

According to the reliable sources, even about 22 seniors in the SJB will leave Sajith and join UNP and they will be the next strong party.

It's Tissa Attanayake of SJB who made the first false allegation about SupremeSAT i.e. it had costed Sri Lankan government millions but no satellite was launched etc. That lie was expanded and carried through by the JVP.

That it was a false allegation is debatable as the facts are still not clear. You are pre-empting to suit your defence of chichi.

Is this guy dreaming or is he insane? How naive to even imagine such a thing? Firstly, we cannot see anything but a solid government, performing well. Secondly, who would want an incapable person rejected twice by the electorate as a leader, when he is struggling to hold on to the leadership of his own party.

Exactly, whatever not possible must leave it and run the race smoothly instead of dreaming and aiming for nothing looking at the sky. Sajith take my advice, since you are not suitable to be a Leader. Either you should quit politics or learn politics for another 10-15 years being in the opposition benches.

How come ? Puthanao is having a b8g day dream. Chchi's rocket issue is not a serious matter , no one rwalky knows all the details, everyone is speculating. But , this Puthanao did not accept the challenge when he wss asked by Gota to take over the PM post. Luckily , Ranil accepted the challenge and stabilised the country. Now , the economy is OK and he sees AKD enjoying life so he wants to have a go at it now.

You have been ready to form a Govt with anybody ever since you were a small boy Sajith. The problem is that the masses never wanted you and still don't want you. If a statement difference of a PM can bring down a Govt, it could have happened many times over in Sri Lanka's past. Get serious even at this late stage and build an alternative set of policies if you want to counter the Govt.

SAJITH is what the late Anura Bandaranaike was in the 1980s to 1994 until President Chandrika Bandaranaike took over the SLFP . President RANIL with all his shortcomings knew SJ was low IQ he is bidding for his time when the rest of the party will comeback to the UNP. He is JMP ( JANADTHIPATHIGE MODA PUTHA )
