Sajith raises concerns over YouTuber predicting Ranil’s arrest

Colombo, August 22 (Daily Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) leader Sajith Premadasa said if the arrest of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe was planned as a YouTuber predicted, it is a sad day where something as sacred as law and order is reduced to cheap theatrics.

He said in a post on X that "A YouTuber predicting the arrest of a former President before it even happens? That can’t be a coincidence, could it be planned? If true, it’s a sad day when something as sacred as law and order is reduced to cheap theatrics."

He is trying to divert it to a YouTuber ? Inside must be very happy about his eternal nemesis. On the other hand must be worried about his own case that is being investigated. If former President was arrested, nothing to prevent this guy too, if his actions as a minister were fraudulent. He must surely know the truth. Let’s wait and see.

This fellow sajith has no backbone, no leadership quality, no vision and thinks people of Ranil's caliber and himself are above the law. Investigations should be carried out about Sajith's dealings as well.

I don’t usually subscribe to Sajith’s views, but in this case, I think he has a point. These are legal matters and should be confined to the legal fraternity until the proper authorities decide to disclose them at the right time. I fully agree.

There must be more people who have to claim that Sajith like Namal are complete losers and only out to plunder the public purse if they ever get a chance. Ranil going to prison for wasting public funds could be seen well during his term. There is bound to be much other corruption with that no good crook, that is yet to be found out.
