Colombo, Dec 22 (Daily Mirror) - Danushka Gunathilaka who was cleared over rape charges by an Australian court has also been cleared by his club, the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) to resume domestic cricket with immediate effect, the SSC said today.
He will play in the Major Club Limited Over Tournament, organised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
Accordingly, he is likely to return to action next week.

Good luck, everyone who appears as saints and who also comment here as saints , commit adultery and they are OK with it, in his case he played with the wrong person. So , if everyone else is allowed to be a normal person then he is also entitled to it.

he was selected for his talent in cricket hoping to bring honor to his country and not paid by SLC for his personal pleasure outside his signed contract and should refund all expenses paid for by SLC He should be banned for all itn'li games as he has brought disgrace not only to his kith and kin and allied personnel but chiefly to his country, flag and national anthem and this stigma will always follow him like a shadow for the rest of his life Shame on SSC for continuing his membership. He should have been sacked at the time of his arrest
