SLBFE warns against unauthorized agents for overseas jobs

The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has issued a warning to job seekers to avoid dealing with unauthorized agents or middlemen.

According to the Bureau, the entire application process is completely free and must be conducted exclusively through the official online system.

SLBFE said that it is illegal to pay or demand any form of payment for these government-sanctioned employment opportunities.

The Bureau urged applicants to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to prevent exploitation.
