SLBFE allows Israeli job applicants to apply for up to three vacancies

Colombo, Feb. 5 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has announced a special concession for Sri Lankans seeking employment in Israel, allowing applicants to apply for up to three job opportunities instead of the previous limit of two.

The bureau said this facility will be available only for the current recruitment round. Accordingly, the SLBFE’s official website will be opened tomorrow (6) to accept online applications for several employment opportunities in Israel.

Applications must be submitted through the SLBFE’s official website, www.slbfe.lk, and eligible candidates will be permitted to select a maximum of three job categories during this period.

The available vacancies are mainly in the construction sector, including wire fixing, plastering, shuttering, carpentry and ceramic tile work. Opportunities are also open in the renovation sector, covering general labour, plastering and ceramic tile work.

The SLBFE advised job seekers to apply only through the official website and take advantage of this limited opportunity.

Well, Israel is pounding the West Bank, displacing Palestinians and taking Palestinian land, building new houses for Israelis! It will be shameful if our countrymen are helping this illegal occupation. Why is the minister of foreign employment so willing to help such a country of ill repute?
