SL sees rise in workers’ remittances in November

Sri Lanka workers' remittances have significantly increased to US$384.4 million in November 2022, the Central Bank said.

Accordingly, the cumulative figure for the first eleven months of the year (Jan – Nov) is reported as US$ 3,313.9 million.

According to the CBSL statistics, worker remittances had increased to US$355.4 million in October 2022 from US$317.4 in September 2022.

Looks like the campaign led by Cardinal and group to reduce remittances is slowly fading away. Cardinal is mysteriously silent now. Did he see some justice for Easter Sunday attacks ? So , it looked to ke he was basically leading a different campaign under the pretext of Easter Sunday attacks.

When comparing to neighbouring countries, Sri Lanka, due to the poor political management; is very, very far backwards. Because of the foolish and racists decisions by uneducated politicians. How many genuine job seekers were prevented at the Airport to leave and seek jobs???? As long as these Goohkanna Yoddayas are ruling SL will continue to suffer economically.

What do you mean? It was mainly JVP who are destroying our youth with their negative theories dumped by both China and Russia as being not practical. When our youth are going behind JVP, the youth in our neibouring countries developed their skills to get good jobs outside their countries which has increased the total remittances.
