SL receives 15,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine

A consignment of 15,000 vials of second dose of the Russian-made Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccines was brought to the country this morning.

The consignment of vaccines landed at 12.15 am at the airport and was freighted by an Emirates Airways (EK-2528) aircraft.

The consignment was taken to the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation's (SPC) main warehouse complex by vehicles with freezer facilities. (T.K.G. Kapila)
