SJB MP Prasad Siriwardana tenders apology to Govt MP
Colombo, September 11 (Daiyl Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) MP Prasad Siriwardana tendered a public apology today to government MP Lakmali Hemachandra for the rude remarks he made in Parliament yesterday.
MP Siriwardana said he became aggressive as his microphone was disconnected while he was speaking.
Both MPs engaged in a heated argument when MP Siriwardana said Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake would be the next President.
MP Hemachandra then confronted SJB MP alleging that he had insulted incumbent President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. Both were seen exchanging words at that time.
