SDIG Waruna Jayasundara transferred

Colombo, July 17 (Daily Mirror) - Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) in charge of the Eastern Province, Waruna Jayasundara has been transferred as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in charge of the Police Children & Women Bureau, with effect from yesterday.

Police Spokesperson ASP F.U. Wootler said SDIG in charge of the Uva Province, Mahesh Senaratne, has been appointed to oversee the duties of the Senior Deputy Inspector General of the Eastern Province following the transfer.
