SC not going ahead with determination on VAT Amendment Bill

Colombo, April 8 (Daily Mirror) - The Supreme Court has informed Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne that it wil not come out with a determination on the Value Added Tax (VAT) Amendment Bill as the petitorners who challenged the Bill before courts have decided not to go ahead with the case.

This announcement was made by Deputy Speaker Rizvie Salih today
