Colombo, March 31 (Daily Mirror) - The Royal Madras Yacht Club, together with IndSri Ferry Services Lanka Pvt Ltd, today launched the first international sailing expedition from Chennai to Sri Lanka, lasting seven days.

This seven-day journey, commencing on March 31 and concluding on April 7, will bring together seasoned sailors and enthusiasts, promoting maritime adventure and cross-border camaraderie.

The expedition aims to strengthen maritime ties between India and Sri Lanka while showcasing the spirit of sailing. Participants will navigate challenging waters, experiencing the thrill of open-sea sailing. This initiative highlights the club’s commitment to fostering sailing culture and encouraging international expeditions.

The event is expected to inspire future maritime collaborations and boost regional sailing tourism.
