Roshan Mahanama resigns from National Sports Council

Colombo, Sept. 5 (Daily Mirror) - Former Sri Lanka cricketer and international match referee Roshan Mahanama has resigned from his position as a member of the National Sports Council (NSC) with immediate effect, due to personal reasons.

Mahanama was appointed to the Council for the 2025–2028 term by a letter dated 14 February 2025 and formally accepted the appointment on 20 February 2025.

How can educated, honest, and respectable people work under Bolshevik-Marxists? Since the real reasons for resignations cannot be cited, everyone gives personal reasons as the rationale for their resignations. If they state the truth, the next day they will be summoned by either the Bribery Commission, CID, or FCID and then remanded.
