Reveal the truth on Ondansetron injection: Sajith

Colombo, Dec. 22 (Daily Mirror) - The Minister of Health should reveal all details pertaining to the controversial Ondansetron injections including the capacity of Sri Lankan laboratories to subject the consignment of the said injections to a proper test, Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa said today.  

Making a statement on the issue, Premadasa questioned whether Sri Lanka possesses World Health Organization (WHO) accredited laboratories to subject the suspicious medicine to investigations. 

Also, he questioned whether the government is planning to set up such sophisticated laboratories and whether funds have been allocated for the same.

“The Minister of Health should reveal these facts to the country,” he said.
