Colombo, June 29 (Daily Mirror) - Pope Leo XIV has appointed Reverand Father Anton Ranjith Pilleynayagam as the new Bishop of Jaffna, the Vatican announced today. 

The Pope has also accepted the resignation of Rev. Fr. Justin Gnanaprakasan who was the Bishop of the Diocese of Jaffa.
