Report on student consuming coconut kernel for lunch unfounded-PMD

The reported incident of a student consuming coconut kernel for lunch due to poverty, was found to be unfounded, the President’s Media Division said.

However, a special program is initiated on the directives of the President to assist any child/family facing such a situation. For assistance call hotline 0114354647, it added.

When we were kids we used to eat the soft sweet part of the young coconuts outer cover as well as the kernel. I am sure that the story is true, though the media division is trying to cover up the failure of this government, especially the fake president's who is enjoying trips abroad while the citizens starve. How does he get foreign exchange to pay for his trips and 5 Star hotel accommodation abroad if the there is no foreign exchange to pay for essential food and medicines.

If President provides concessions for Buddhist religious place (like below cost electricity) based on Buddism being protected in the constitution/law requirement he better watch his next built private residence. The wrath for misuse of government money (even if created through money printing) will be much greater in coming time.

The ground reality in rural schools are complete different.Govt.Authorities sit in AC rooms and defend and reject the media reports are useless.Must do field visits time to time and get reports on ground realities
