Colombo, Jan. 23 (Daily Mirror) - The report of the investigation into the sexual harassment of Parliament staff is being hidden from the MPs, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa told Parliament today.

"The staff advisory committee is to discuss the report when it meets today, but MPs have not been given the report. The MPs can discuss the matter at the advisory committee meeting only if they study the report on sexual harassment," he said.

Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne who responded said it will be presented to the MPs during the advisory committee meeting.

Similarly we expected a credible inquiry into sexual harassment allegations against one of the former High Commissioner served in Kenya, now serving as Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka .Instead, no investigation was conducted and the complainant was recalled unfairly by one of the former President. We urge the NPP to initiate a fair, impartial process and ensure accountability.
