Repairs into plant 2 of Norochcholai power plant completed

The second generator of the Norochcholai Lakvijaya Coal Power Plant started its operation today after completion of overhaul work.

The boiler had been stalled since June 18 and had been undergoing repairs.

The CEB said the second unit of the plant started today after completion of overhaul work. "Boilers fired at 6.30am and the startup sequence in progress," the CEB said.

Between 10 and 15 percent of the country’s requirement of power had been met by stage II of the power complex since 2014.

Always breakdown Norochcholai Plant has been out of order frequently who is responsible for this is there a solution or the solution is beyond the control of the officials only we boast we have competent professionals who may also be the problem to a solution?
