Colombo, Jan. 23 (Daily Mirror) - Claiming that the Opposition is not required to bring in a no-confidence motion against her, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya said today she is ready to quit and go home when the people of this country decided that the Prime Minister must change.

The Prime Minister told Parliament that they are accountable to the people and their conscience.

She questioned the Opposition whether the proposed no-confidence motion will be moved or not.

"When are you moving the no-confidence motion against me? I am waiting for it," she said.

The Prime Minister requested the Opposition to engage in an in-depth discussion on the education reforms after a proper study without debating on surface matters.
