Veteran film actor and former Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake arrived at the Katunayake International Airport this morning after completing his American tour.

While addressing the media, he said that several musical shows were held during his tour of America and that he bought a stock of laptops to distribute among the poor children of our country.

“I bought the laptops with the money I earned from the musical shows,” he said.

“Some millionaires donated a stock of laptops and a large number of clothes for the poor children of our country. All the laptops and clothes are on their way to the country in a container,” he said.

"Now, I am a free man without bonds.

"I hope to engage in social service activities in the future by distributing these donations among poor children," Ramanayake said. (T.K.G. Kapila)
