Ranil’s case: Indictments before three-judge bench in March

The Attorney General informed court that indictments will be filed before a three-judge bench of the High Court in March following the completion of the investigations in the case against Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Additional Solicitor General Dileepa Peiris, appearing on behalf of the Attorney General, informed court that investigations relating to the first suspect, Ranil Wickremesinghe, have been completed while investigations into the second suspect, Somisara Bandara Ekanayake, also known as Saman Ekanayake, are expected to be concluded within one month.

The Additional Solicitor General said that once the remaining investigations are finalised, indictments will be filed before the High Court as scheduled.
