Ranil to visit India tomorrow

Colombo, May 7 (Daily Mirror) - Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe will visit India tomorrow (May 8 2025) to attend a function organised by The Hindu newspaper in the State of Karnataka.

Wickremesinghe is to make the keynote address at the function, a statement from his office said.

Many politicians, businessmen, sportsmen and women and artistes are expected to participate in the event.

The entire blame for that has to go to SWRDB as it was his greed to grab power which brought about the sinhala only in 24hours. As a direct result today almost two generations are not competent in english. The irony is that SWRDB's only two grandchildren are not fluent in Sinhala.
