Ranil's arrest; security tightened around Fort Magistrate’s Court

Colombo, August 22 (Daily Mirror) - Security has been beefed up around the Fort Magistrate’s Court ahead of the appearance of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was arrested earlier today.

Wickremesinghe was taken into custody this morning following a statement lasting more than four hours. He is expected to be produced before the Fort Magistrate’s Court shortly.
