A fruitful discussion was held between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and World Bank (WB) President Ajay Banga at the United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) a short while ago, the President's Media Division said.

Surely if the English Medium education system had been maintained, Sri Lanka would have certainly had top officials today locally as well as internationally in par or even better than Bharath. Good example the President of Singapore.

Ranil can't do anything without Basil's approval. If anybody in our country think Ranil is the best President you all are wrong. What we need today is a corrupt free President and Government. Sadly we don't have one.

How fruitful these discussions were can only be judged after we see the outcome. I am sure that even at their best these discussion will end at getting another loan, adding to the already unbearable debt burden.
