Mr. Jayasinghe, yes all know he he took the country out of the mess created by the politicians including his party members, but at whose expense. It was the ordinary citizens paid the supreme sacrifice, by tax increases on all goods. Prices shot up by three times and still some are unable to get over. But, we agree, he was smart with his ideas to to recover from the mess. Only thing what we don't understand is, why he did the stupid thing of using tax money for his personal use, when 16.9 M is nothing to him. As usual the heath deteriorated soon after the arrest and he ended in the ICU. Two days after bail being granted his condition improved and when he was transferred to the ward he was discharged. If his medical issues cited in court were real he should have entered a Private Hospital for a few days at least to support his doctors findings. His action show that it was a drama more than illness

On the next court date, the magistrate must appoint an independent panel of specialists to assess RW’s health condition and them to compare results with the reports already submitted and report back to court. The new panel should determine whether this kind of recovery is practically possible and whether there was a misguide of court by the medical specialists. If so, the doctors should be asked to appear before court for explanation. This kind of drama should be stopped once and for all.

Everyone who has got heart blockages please see the learned doctors at the National hospital. Namely the doctors that treated Mr Ranil W. Team of lawyers who represent good governance in this country should file a law soot against the team of doctors who gave medical certificates indicating the health condition of Ranil was very serious. It is disgusting to note the conduct of these doctors. They have misled the court to grant bail for this living corpse.As a nation we must be ashamed of our country since it looks as it is still run by rouges .it was very sad day for this country . Hope the lawyers will file a case against these doctors ,who sacrificed their oath to make away out , to a rouge to escape justice
