Range Bandara hits back at claims that Ranil was rehabilitated

Responding to recent comments that President Ranil Wickremesinghe was rehabilitated, UNP General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara said it was Ranil Wickremesinghe, who rehabilitated all those politicians, who had even found it difficult going before the people.

“Country is in a serious situation. Thanks to Mr. Wickremesinghe, the politicians who were finding it hard going before the public, are now moving freely in their vehicles or get to the stages. They are now bragging that they had rehabilitated Ranil. It is Ranil Wickremesinghe who rehabilitated all of them. They cannot remember it now,” he said.

Range Bandara said Mr. Wickremesinghe did not take over the country to protect the Rajapaksas even though some are criticising that Mr. Wickremesinghe is acting at the whims and fancies of the Rajapaksa clan.
