Ramith Rambukwella indicted for failing to declare assets acquired illegally

Colombo, Sept. 12 (Daily Mirror) - The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has filed indictments against Ramith Rambukwella, son of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, for failing to disclose assets worth over Rs. 270 million acquired illegally.

The charges relate to the period between January 1, 2022, and November 14, 2023, during which the accused allegedly acquired assets and properties valued at Rs. 296,566,444 and failed to reveal assets worth Rs. 275,302,616.
