Ramesh Pathirana appointed as SLPP electoral organiser for Bentara–Elpitiya

Colombo, Jan. 22 (Daily Mirror) - Former Minister representing the Galle District, Ramesh Pathirana, has been appointed as the Benthara–Elpitiya Electoral Organiser of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

He received his letter of appointment from the National Organiser of the SLPP, Namal Rajapaksa today at the Nelum Mawatha party headquarters.

In addition to this appointment, Ramesh Pathirana has also been named the Convener of the Health Professionals Association of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

Ramesh Pathirana supported former President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the last Presidential election.

Meanwhile, a group of former chairmen of local government bodies and members of local government institutions from the Galle District also joined the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna today.
