Colombo, Sept. 29 (Daily Mirror) - MP Ramanathan Archchuna was arrested by Fort Police this morning (29) when he arrived at the station to give a statement.

The arrest follows an incident in which the MP was reportedly seen abusing a police officer at the Fort Police station after participating in a satyagraha held recently in Colombo.

Police confirmed that the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the matter.
