Rains to enhance from December 29: Met. Department

Colombo, Dec. 26 (Daily Mirror)- The rainy conditions are expected to enhance, particularly in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, Uva and Central Provinces of the island in the next few days from December 29, the Department of Meteorology said.

It said the rainy conditions are expected to enhance as an active easterly wave is expected across the island from December 29, 2025.

People have been advised to be attentive to future forecasts and bulletins issued by the Department of Meteorology in this regard.
