Railways to resume essential service operations after travel restrictions on May 25

Several trains have been scheduled to operate on May 25 after travel restrictions were relaxed to facilitate essential services, the Sri Lanka Railway Station Masters' Union (SLRSMU) said.

They said six trains have been scheduled to run during on the said date.

Accordingly, the six trains scheduled to run between Ambepussa and Colombo Fort, two trains between Polgahawela and Kandy, four trains between Aluthgama and Maradana, four trains will run between Kochchikade and Colombo Fort, one train between Avisssawella and Colombo Fort and one train between Beliatta and Indurwa on May 25, the SLRSMU added.
