Saman, another seeming dense individual. This is all about other matter, a protest. The drivers can say anyway, enough is enough, won't suffer anymore, so fools like you can be swatted away for their attempts to demean them.
Government tried to prevent training bringing in people for the last Aragalaya, and if drivers wanted then they could've refused to drive, but they were with the youth, so best wishes to break the stupid backwards mentalities in this countries to them!

Several middle class people use TRAIN as their mode of transport everyday to travel from far away to office. HOW MANY TIMES THIS UNION HAS LAUNCHED STRIKES AFFECTING INNOCENT PEOPLE?? RAILWAY DEPT needs to be PRIVATISED

You must be willing to pay 5 to 10 times more charges! Railways department is not yet breaking even. Currently railways is continued loss making burden for the public purse. If you are train user, you must be much wealthier than most. Or why else would you want higher charges that will come with a fully profitable private railway?

Privatize Sri Lanka Railways or PPP. All these losses have to pay by general public of this country, with all the pains. Irresponsible unions and workers. Shame

Don't mind the railways being privatized. I don't want my children still small continued to be burdened by accumulating losses caused by today and tomorrows train users. Then public who wants to use trains will have to pay cost (and more) for what it costs to take them places. Too long our conniving public cause endless losses and complain afterwards afterwards when their inter-generational debt becomes unbearable.
