Why not? Security is provided by government. Government can recycle personnel as the government wishes. Even this is done in Public Sector as a measure to catch unlawful activities. This security officer may be involved with plotting against government being a long associate with Ranil.

I think he overstepped his limitations by calling CID for RW to speak with Pilliyan. If RW and the Chief security Officer did not know the protocol some changes would be necessary. RW being the Boss must not ask his men to do things that are inappropriate. RW did what Deshabandu did and Deshabandu was arrested and RW is still out in the open

Only me, building a nation as you say!!! YES the govt has to go after all who in some way or another are connected with helping themselves and or others to feather their nests via corruption. We need to get rid of the scum in politics and if RW is one of them so be it, wait until this plays out. By the way, the govt can locate and relocate any security, so nothing new as transfers are the norm even in the police dept.

Ariyawansa was not only his chief security officer but also acted as his confidant. According to the emerging news. ,it was reported that this was the officer who rang up an officer connected to the Pasku inquiry and asking him to give the mobile phone to Pillayan since Ranil Wickramasingha wanted to speak to him. Good decision by the government to transfer this man out of the present position.

If a person is accused then proved to be guilty ,convicted and behind bars, yes anyone can have a say. Otherwise it will always be innocent until proven guilty. So far there has been horrendous murders, loots, plundering,robbing, theiving in the country on a grand national scale. But no one was proved guilty or were behind bars on any government. All this pomp and show can run only for so long, if you are not willing to come out of your comfort zone and do whats necessary the NPP will only be just another common phase of sri lankan political history. The way things are moving it looks that way.
