Colombo, April 13 (Daily Mirror) - The Road Development Authority (RDA) has generated Rs. 126 million in revenue from expressway users between April 10 and 12.
During this period, 366,000 vehicles utilized the expressways, the RDA said.

Have you ever used the highway? Were you ever allowed FOC? , if not- whenever you paid, have you not being given a detailed receipt? Don’t publicly display your foolishness! Yes! They earned 126mln by collecting it from tollway users! (Not from daft commenters who sit at home)

The RDA seem to be very proud of themselves having made this money at the risk of loosing lives. They shamelessly charge the full amount whilst swithing off lights in the highways thereby putting the travellers lives in danger.

It was a good decesion to move it under a pvt company. They need to settle 160 billion loan so majority of the earnings go there. So as a country we have done irresponsible projects and now we are paying the price. Never ever elect uneducated village thugs like MR or those who lacks language skills such as MS.
