Public Security Ministry denies fake photos of Minister at airport

Colombo, August 31 (Daily Mirror) - The Public Security Ministry has denied social media claims showing Minister Ananda Wijeyapala worshiping at the airport after the arrival of underworld figures arrested in Indonesia.

In a statement, the Ministry said the circulating photos and accompanying news reports are entirely false and edited pictures.

They said that legal action will be taken against individuals responsible for creating and publishing the fake images.

Most pictures created by Pachawatte IT Team about opposition politicians are fake as well as promotional pictures of key Pacha government members. But gullible Sri Lankans who believed 100s of lies by Pacha party , are embracing those pictures as real.
