The Proceeds of Crimes Bill under which the assets earned by wrong means could be acquired by the government was unanimously approved in Parliament today.

It will be possible to acquire assets which an owner cannot ciaim how he or she had purchased and who it was purchased from.

Cheers! Parliament is moving towards good goals. I hope the Bill has provisions for the authorities to require any individual whether politician of a private citizen to explain their assets and how they funded their acquisition. This was a long overdue

Great job by the NPP non-professional Government. The steps may appear to be slow to some so called veterans. but the steps are sure and steady. This bill will surely give a warning to the weak minded new comers who assume that they are not answerable to their source of income.
