Colombo, Sept. (Daily Mirror) - Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama today ordered the conclusion of proceedings before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court in respect of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and his family members.

They are facing indictments filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption before the Colombo High Court on charges of money laundering.

High Court must fix the cases for hearing. If suspects are before court on the day fixed for hearing, the hearing will commence. How long it may drag is only a guess as the defence lawyers will object to anything and the case will drag. One day after HC gives it decision it will go up in appeal. We may not see a finality for at least next 5 years or more
