Prison shooting update; one more inmate dead

Another inmate, who was injured in the Anuradhapura Prison shooting incident has succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to the Anuradhapura Hospital, official sources said.

Due to the incident a total number of two inmates died while three others injured.
Prison guards opened fire at the inmates when several inmates attempted to escape.
