What an idiotic statement. They have an overwhelming majority at the parliament. What other right do they need. Defeated parties do not matter as people do not trust them. The politicians defeated have been crooks. They all should be in jail. Does Mervyn silva, Seeya, Pina, Basil, and Pilliyan have to be consulted?

Other party leaders are nobodies. Unclear why President wants to even talk to them, as other party leaders main business is somehow, anyhow legally get rid of President and NPP government as soon as possible. Anything President says will the twisted by other party leaders anyway, so it is complete loss for President and NPP to talk to them instead of spending time to remove all tariffs on US good, before next putting in time to remove non-tariff trade barriers on US goods and services.

At least get some experience folks to manage. Doctorates focus on just one subject and similar to the ones who no absolutely nothing and speak nonsense to waste time and change focus. It is too late to use promises to move forward. Right now, we are in deep water and over 60 % are illiterate about the reactions and don't understand our export industry particularly apparel Tea, Rubber, coconut and coir exports are almost drowned by the reciprocal tax and those in charge have no business or negotiating skills whatsoever to manage this bilateral commitment with reciprocal rights and duties without causing further havoc. Wonder how much was discussed with Modi as he can help since India has a hold on the US. We want stability not rally's and elections every now and then.
