President to address World Governments Summit today

Colombo, Feb 12 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to address the main session of the World Governments Summit, where he will outline Sri Lanka’s vision for economic growth, innovation, and governance reforms, the President’s Media Division stated.

His speech is expected to highlight Sri Lanka’s commitment to sustainable development and international cooperation.

Today (12) marks the third day of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

Yes, they mentioned it during the campaign, they also talked about bringing back USD 18 billion from Uganda , Kottahacchi is leading that project , they also will bring back millions in Rajapaksha money from Dubai. AKD does not appear to be talking about these things now.

...and we are the only government which signalled left, and turned right. The only thing that was done so far is to work with the IMF, but it's thanks to the previous president Ranil Wickremesinghe. The rest of the govt programs are a disaster, since we filled our parliament with babies.

I have to admit that as a novice to the World Summit of Governments which is a conference where experts from different countries exchange ideas and a vision for economic growth. I have only being on the saddle for the last 3 months and my government has not been able to provide the basic needs of the people rice etc and doing my best to import these essentials. All this is because of the previous governments folly. Even the weather gods act against me by the recent floods which is out of season. Before coming here our country was cloaked wtih darkness because a monkey had played a trick on the transmission lines fixed to pylons. But I have a team and voters who dilute the truth and cover all things by telling lies and shifting the blame isn't it something out of the box that no other country can boast. As you see we are differently abled experts which you can count on us!!! Three C heers!!!!!

It was a written statement that was read by him do the translation may have been given in advance. Many leaders spoke in their own language, so did ours. No one except old retired and retards are having a problem with that.
