President leaves for Maldives

Katunayaka, July 28 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake departed from the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning (28) for a three-day official visit to the Maldives.

The President was accompanied by Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath, along with several senior government officials as part of the official delegation.

The group boarded SriLankan Airlines flight UL-101, which departed at 7:30 a.m. for Malé, the capital of the Maldives.

According to the Airport Officer-in-Charge, the delegation is scheduled to return to Sri Lanka on July 30 following the conclusion of the visit.
