President concludes US visit, departs for Japan



Colombo, Sept. 26 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake concluded his visit to the United States, where he attended the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, and left for Japan from John F. Kennedy International Airport on the night of September 25.

The President is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Japan from September 27 to 30, at the invitation of the Japanese Government.

He is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath.
