President approves appointment of new SLAF Chief of Staff

Colombo, March 04 (Daily Mirror) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has approved the appointment of Air Vice Marshal LH Sumanaweera as the new Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force.

The official letter of appointment was handed over to Air Vice Marshal Lasitha Sumanaweera by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, today (04 March 2025).
