Prasanna Ranaweera remanded
Colombo, May 7 (Daily Mirror) - Former State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera was remanded until May 19 by the Mahara Magistrate’s Court today after surrendering to authorities.
Ranaweera had been evading arrest in connection with the Kiribathgoda state property fraud case, in which he is one of the key suspects. The case also implicates former Minister Mervyn Silva.
Court proceedings are set to continue as investigations into the alleged misuse of state property move forward.
