Port City Bill passed with amendments in Parliament

The Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill passed with amendments in Parliament with a majority of 91 votes a short while ago.

A total of 149 MPs voted in favour of the Bill while 58 MPs voted against it. (AS &YP)

this Bill was passed with a simple majority in Parliament. therefore SJB if wins at the next election they can have this Act will be amended with the proposals made by the SJB but they must realize the task of winning at the next election. So far no progress is shown
