Police warns against use of offensive language on its Facebook page

Colombo, July 2 (Daily Mirror) - Action will be taken against individuals who use offensive or abusive language when commenting on its official Facebook page, the Sri Lanka Police announced

Issuing a statement, the Police said that while public opinions and constructive criticism are valued and taken into account, comments must be expressed in a respectful and appropriate manner.

The department urged the public to use decent and civil language when sharing views or feedback via the official Facebook platform.
