Police open fire at three-wheeler

Police opened fire at a three-wheeler which failed to comply with an order to stop at the Karapitiya area in Galle. 

The police attempted to bring the vehicle to a halt, but the three-wheeler disregarded the command, resulting in the firing of shots. The two individuals who were travelling in the three-wheeler, however, managed to escape following the incident.

Further investigations are underway.
