Police deny claims STF receiving motorcycles from Avant Garde

Colombo, April 21 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka Police have denied claims circulating on social media that the Special Task Force (STF) is set to receive motorcycles from Avant Garde.

In a statement, Police said reports alleging that the Avant Garde Company would provide 50 motorcycles with 450cc engine capacity free of charge, along with 15 years of maintenance support, are “completely false and baseless.”

The Police further clarified that no such agreement or arrangement exists between the STF and the company.

Authorities have urged the public not to be misled by unverified information shared online and to rely on official communications for accurate details.
