Colombo, April 8 (Daily Mirror) - Former State Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, alias ‘Pilleyan’, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) a short while ago, police said.

This guy is a renegade who had been notorious and later had been “hand in glove” with political bigwigs. Many allegations swirled around him for taking the law into his hands and political motivated incidents. It’s prudent to investigate allegations against him and prosecute him according to the law of the land before being sent for total rehabilitation.
