People who got only the two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are showing a trend of being victims of the virus and there is a clear resistance of getting the third dose due to misinformation spreading among the people, Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) Assistant Secretary Dr. Samantha Ananda said.

He told the media that a certain group might be involved in spreading misinformation or whether certain people have emerged in the country to accept false propaganda.

With the third dose of the vaccine, "we will be able to minimize the spread of the virus, hospitalization, and the number of patients admitted to ICUs," he said.

The COVID-19 Omicrone variant is currently spreading very fast across the country, he said.

Therefore, reporting of the number of daily COVID-19 positive cases is increasing, hospital beds are filling up with COVID patients, and there is an increase in the number of admitted patients to ICUs, he said.

"Due to the easing of travel restrictions, the Omicrone variant has started to spread without a limit. All schools were open and, therefore, many children seemed to be falling victim," he said.

With the decision to administer only the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to children over 12 years old, there is a possibility of spreading the virus among children, he added.

As a country, we should take responsibility for moving the country without letting its economy collapse and without moving into another lockdown. Therefore, people should be very responsible for adhering to the health guidelines and should go for the third dose of COVID-19 vacine as soon as possible,  Dr. Ananda said. Covid vaccines don't work! Israel, UK, Europe, America and many more countries are prime examples! Don't get a tester and suffer! I wonder whether vaccines are making people infectious as everyone I know who got infected are on their thrid booster!
